Introductory Division

The Introductory Division consists of Pre-Ballet levels and is for ages 3 to 8. Class placement is determined by age. This division teaches the basic fundamentals of ballet technique such as stretching the legs and feet correctly, and engaging turnout. Flexibility exercises and creative movement are included. The purpose of this division is to prepare younger dancers for the Formal Division.

Placement is according to age on August 1st, 2026. Tuition is based on a yearly rate divided into equal monthly payments, so monthly tuition is the same regardless of holidays or breaks, and is due the 1st of each month. All Introductory Division levels participate in end-of-year Demonstrations. A 30-day notice is required to withdraw mid-season. Make-up classes are always available in another class of the same level.
