Danielle is from a military family and has had the privilege to live and travel all over the world. Her father’s last assignment brought them to Southern Arizona which led her to study Elementary and Special Education at Northern Arizona University. She met her husband in Flagstaff while they both were attending NAU. She and her husband spent years moving to various states before returning to Arizona. She has a son, a daughter, and 2 crazy dogs. For 10 years, she taught varying ages and abilities in private and public schools. She recently left the world of public education to pursue a new path with a non-profit organization preparing and empowering children to succeed in work and life, as well as to pursue her passion for teaching yoga.
Danielle is an accomplished athlete. She understands the focus, hard work and dedication it takes to accomplish a goal. After years of competing and fighting injuries, she needed a change. She had practiced yoga on and off over the years, but never consistently. She found when she was on her mat, she felt stronger, lighter, and calmer. This sense of renewal and peace led her to become a Registered Yoga Teacher.
As a yoga instructor, Danielle incorporates her passion for teaching, her understanding of the body, and her ability to connect with people, especially young people, to each of her classes. Her goal for her students is to create an environment where they can strengthen their bodies, calm their minds, and have fun.
